MISAU and Bill & Melinda Gates Colleges Celebrate Induction of Second Cohort of Community Health Practitioners
The second induction and oath-taking ceremony of MISAU College of Health Sciences and Technology, in collaboration with Bill and Melinda Gates College of Health Sciences and Technology, Ningi, took place on January 7th, 2026.
The event was held at the convocation square of Bill and Melinda Gates College of Health Science and Technology, Ningi, Bauchi, under the authority of the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board.
The ceremony was graced by dignitaries from Misau, Ningi, Bauchi, and other parts of the country. The program commenced with an opening prayer, followed by the national anthem, showcasing love and respect for Nigeria. Esteemed guests, including academicians, educationists, orators, and tutors, delivered inspiring speeches.
The graduands, referred to as inductees, took an oath to work diligently in accordance with the ethics and regulations governing community health and extension work. Outstanding students received awards for their exceptional performance in various fields.
Alh. Ahmed Yahya, school proprietor of MICOHEST, delivered a closing speech, urging the graduands to maintain honesty and integrity as community health workers. He requested the opportunity to host the next induction ceremony at their college premises.
The ceremony culminated with the issuance of licenses, officially recognizing the graduands as community health and extension workers.
Conclusively, this showcases the tireless efforts of the college's management to ensure the standard and the ethical running of the programs where skilled and licensed graduands will be produced.
