MTN Nigeria’s Y’ello Care Initiative Supports Lekki Community School
MTN staff members visited Iwerekun Community High School in Lakowe, Lekki, Lagos to deliver much-needed educational materials. In addition to donating books, the MTN staff engaged with the students in vocational training sessions. Students had the opportunity to participate in activities such as bead making, soap making, and petroleum jelly production.
MTN Nigeria recently launched the Y’ello Care initiative, a program aimed at giving back to communities by donating books to schools. In a generous effort to support education, MTN staff members visited Iwerekun Community High School in Lakowe, Lekki, Lagos to deliver much-needed educational materials.

The Y’ello Care initiative is an annual campaign that lasts for 30 days, during which MTN employees contribute funds and volunteer their time to various social impact projects. This year, in its 17th edition, the focus was on providing resources to enhance the learning environment at Iwerekun Community High School.
In a statement posted on Facebook, MTN expressed their commitment to making a difference in the lives of students in the community. They stated, “It's all about caring, the Yello way. Students of Iwerekun Community High School Lakowe received donations in the form of books from MTN staff.”

In addition to donating books, the MTN staff engaged with the students in vocational training sessions.
