Muslim Community, Federal Polytechnic Ayede Pays Congratulatory Visit to Rector, Dr. Adelabu

The Muslim Community of Federal Polytechnic Ayede Chapter has paid a congratulatory visit to the Second Substantive Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr. Isiaka Tunji Adelabu, FCA, at his office at the Iresa-Pupa Temporary Site.

Speaking on behalf of the Muslim Community, the Public Relations Officer, Alhaji Idris Ismail, congratulated the Rector on his appointment and reaffirmed the Community’s commitment to supporting a successful tenure for the new administration and the overall progress and development of the institution.

Alhaji Ismail described the appointment of Dr. Adelabu as a positive development for the Polytechnic, noting that the Muslim Community is confident in his capacity to provide purposeful leadership and take the institution to greater heights.

He said the visit was also an opportunity to identify with the Rector, offer prayers for his administration, and pledge the cooperation of the Muslim Community in all efforts aimed at advancing academic excellence, peace and stability on campus.

The Muslim Community presented a gift to the Rector as a gesture of goodwill and congratulation. The presentation was accompanied by prayers and best wishes for a fruitful and impactful tenure.

Responding, Dr. Adelabu expressed appreciation to the Muslim Community for the visit and for their prayers and support. He assured them of an inclusive administration that will carry all staff, students and stakeholders along in the task of repositioning the Polytechnic.

The Rector emphasised the importance of unity, mutual respect and collaboration among staff and students of different faiths, adding that his administration will continue to promote an environment conducive for learning, worship and community engagement.

He commended the Muslim Community for its contributions to the spiritual and moral wellbeing of the institution and urged them to continue to uphold values of discipline, service and commitment to the growth of Federal Polytechnic Ayede.

The visit ended on a cordial note with both parties expressing optimism about working together for the continued development of the Polytechnic.
