Nasarawa State University VC Inspects Site for UNDP Mining UniPod

Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, Vice Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, conducted an inspection of the proposed site for the UNDP Mining UniPod on Thursday, August 8, 2024.

The UniPod aims to foster innovations in minerals development, environment, and IT.

The facility will feature a minerals development laboratory, a design and prototyping laboratory, and a technology transfer office. This initiative is part of the UNDP Africa's University Innovation Pods (UniPods) program, powered by Timbuktoo.

The inspection was attended by principal officers, including the Head of Department Geology and Mining, Dr. Aisha A. Kana; the Director of Linkages and International Cooperation, Dr. Ktso Ngharbu; and the Director of Physical Planning, Engr. Ahmed Liman.
