NASU-KASU Branch Conducts In-House Training for Administrative Staff
In a bid to enhance the skills and capacity of Administrative, Secretarial, and Clerical Staff, the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU) KASU Branch organized a two-day in-house training at Kaduna State University (KASU).

The event held on 29th and 30th April 2024, saw the participation of approximately 200 staff members from various departments.
During the opening session, Comrade Nina Lami Ochigbo, Chairman of NASU-KASU Branch, and Comrade Richard Idoko, Chairman of NASU State Council, expressed their commitment to aligning with the university's strategic plan. They pledged to engage in activities aimed at elevating the institution to a world-class standard.
In his address, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa, represented by the Acting Director, University Advancement, Mallam Usman Tabari, acknowledged the importance of supporting non-academic staff training. He highlighted Management's ongoing efforts in this regard and promised further support in the future.
Among the dignitaries present was the Registrar of the University, Barr. Samira Balarabe, represented by the Deputy Registrar, Academic Affairs, Mrs.Amina Audu Abutu and representatives from sister unions including ASUU, SSANU, and NAAT.

The training underscores KASU's dedication to the professional development of its non-academic workforce, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in line with its strategic objectives.
