Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University has reminded students and staff of the importance of adhering to the university's dress code regulations.

In a memo, the Dean of Students' Affairs emphasized the need for students to dress decently and modestly, in line with the university's rules and the Federal Government's directive to check indecent dressing in tertiary institutions.

The university has prohibited certain types of clothing, including body hugs, spaghetti tops, bandless jeans, and revealing outfits.

Any student or staff found violating the dress code regulations will face sanctions, including denial of access to university facilities.
