NBL Increases Reward for 2024 Multina Teacher of the Year to N10 Million

Nigerian Breweries-Felix Ohiwerei Education Trust Fund (NB-FOETF) has announced the commencement of the 10th edition of the Multina Teacher of the Year competition, with a significant increase in the grand prize. The winner of the 2024 edition will receive a whopping N10 million, up from N6.5 million in the previous year.
Sade Morgan, Director of Corporate Affairs at Nigerian Breweries PLC, revealed the enhanced prize package during a media briefing at the NBL headquarters in Lagos. She outlined that the first runner-up and second runner-up will receive cash awards of N3 million and N2 million, respectively, while state champions will each be rewarded with N1 million.

The Maltina Teacher of the Year competition, initiated in 2015, aims to recognize and reward exceptional teachers in Nigeria. Supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and various education stakeholders, the initiative seeks to elevate the status of teachers and promote excellence in the education sector.
