NECO Introduces Annual Productivity Awards to Foster Excellence
NECO introduces an Annual Productivity Awards scheme to encourage excellence and competition among staff and students.
The National Examinations Council (NECO) has launched an Annual Productivity Awards scheme, aimed at promoting a culture of excellence and healthy competition among its staff and students. The announcement was made by the Registrar/Chief Executive of NECO, Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, during the maiden edition of the awards ceremony held in Minna over the weekend.

Professor Wushishi expressed his gratitude to the NECO Board, whose guidance and support made the event possible. He emphasized that the awards would serve as a motivation and morale booster for the staff and students, inspiring them to strive for greatness and self-improvement.

The overall objective of the awards, according to the NECO Boss, is to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the services provided by the council. The inaugural edition recognized awardees for 2022 and 2023 in several categories, including the Good Governance Award, Best State Coordinator of the Year Award, and Most Hardworking and Dedicated Staff of the Year in each department, among others.
