NELFUND: Student Loan Will Not Cover 2023/2024 Academic Session

NELFUND emphasized that the disbursement of the student loan will coincide with the start of the 2024/2025 academic session for each institution. They also noted that the disbursement will not be uniform across all institutions and reiterated that it will not cover the ongoing academic session, which has already commenced in most schools.

NELFUND: Student Loan Will Not Cover 2023/2024 Academic Session

The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has announced that the disbursement of student loans for federal institutions will commence in the 2024/2025 academic session. 

 This information was provided in response to inquiries and concerns raised by students regarding the timing of the loan disbursement. NELFUND explained that the student loan will not be available for the current 2023/2024 academic session.

This clarification comes as many students were worried about the delay in the application process for the student loan and how it might affect their ability to register for courses in the current academic session.
