Federal Polytechnic Bauchi SUG President Comrade Haruna Umar Advocates Unity Among Bauchi Institutions

Comrade Haruna Umar, President of the Student Union Government of Federal Polytechnic Bauchi (FPTB), has emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation among institutions in Bauchi State.

Speaking at a meeting organized by the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) North East zone E, Umar stressed that the lack of relationships among institutions in the state is a pressing issue that needs to be addressed.

He proposed that sports activities could play a crucial role in fostering relationships among students of various institutions. "As student leaders, we must recognize the importance of unity and cooperation among our institutions," Umar said.

Umar urged fellow student leaders to advocate for dedicated hours for sports activities in their respective institutions, highlighting the potential benefits of such initiatives in strengthening relationships among institutions.

The zonal representatives of NANS in the state pledged their support for the student leaders, promising to assist them in any way possible. The meeting brought together various student leaders from institutions within the state, providing a platform for discussion and collaboration on matters affecting students.
