Newgate College of Health Technology celebrated its 10th anniversary by providing free eye and cancer screenings, medical counseling, and glasses in collaboration with Raise Foundation.

Newgate College of Health Technology hosted a free medical outreach at Newgate Hospital incelebration of its 10th anniversary. The event was marked by a range of health services, including eye screenings and examinations, treatment for minor eye infections, free medical counseling, and the distribution of free medical glasses.

Partnering with Raise Foundation, the outreach also featured free breast and cervical cancer screenings.

Mr. Monday Ache, Head of the Community Health Department, underscored the significance of the initiative, stating, "The eye is a vital organ, and caring for it is crucial as an injury to the eye affects the entire body."

Mrs. Ruth Maman Jiya from Raise Foundation expressed enthusiasm for the event, highlighting the importance of regular health screenings and the benefits of early detection in achieving better health outcomes.
