NIEEE BUK Chapter and NUESA Collaborate on Community Service Project

The Nigerian Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (NIEEE) BUK Chapter, in partnership with the Nigerian Universities Engineering Students' Association (NUESA), successfully executed a community service project on January 16, 2025.

The initiative provided free repair services for electrical and electronic devices and appliances to students and staff members of Bayero University, Kano.

The project was dedicated to the memory of late Safiyanu Yola from the Department of Electrical Engineering and late Usman Zurmi from the Civil Engineering Department. The event brought together talented engineers and students who volunteered their time and skills to fix faulty devices.

Over 150 students and staff members benefited from the free repair services, making the event a huge success. The NIEEE BUK Chapter and NUESA demonstrated their commitment to giving back to the community and honoring the memories of their late colleagues.

 

The project's success was attributed to the collaborative efforts of the NIEEE BUK Chapter, NUESA, and the volunteers who participated in the event.
