Nigeria Optometric Association Meets with Lagos State University VC

The Nigeria Optometric Association (NOA), Lagos State Chapter, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU), Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, on August 13, 2025.

The meeting aimed to advance discussions on establishing a Department of Optometry in the university.

Led by Chapter Chairman Dr. Gloria Okoekhian-Ogulu, the NOA delegation engaged in productive discussions with the Vice-Chancellor and university management. The meeting marked a significant step towards realizing the proposed department, which would be a landmark academic initiative for the university.
