Nigerian Army University Biu Holds 7th Matriculation Ceremony for 887 New Students

The Nigerian Army University Biu (NAUB) recently held its 7th matriculation ceremony, welcoming 887 new students to the university community. The students pledged their allegiance to the university's authority and swore an oath to abide by its rules and regulations.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Lawan Bala Buratai, congratulated the students on their admission and urged them to be focused, hardworking, and disciplined. He emphasized the university's zero-tolerance policy on misconduct and advised students to shun social vices.

The matriculated students are distributed across six faculties: Management Sciences, Computing, Engineering and Technology, Environmental Sciences, Natural and Applied Sciences, and Social Sciences. The Vice-Chancellor announced plans to review the university's cut-off mark to provide more opportunities for aspiring students while maintaining academic standards.

The ceremony was attended by the Emir of Biu, Alhaji (Dr.) Mustapha Umar Mustapha II, who commended NAUB for its role in providing quality education and grooming young talents.
