Nigerian Girl Who Sold Food to Sponsor Education Receives Full Scholarship to Study Marketing

In an inspiring turn of events, 20-year-old Obasi Precious Chigozirim from Nigeria, who funded her education by selling Garri (Cassava Flour), has been awarded a full scholarship to pursue Marketing at Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi.

Expressing her determination to continue her Garri business while studying, Precious sought online customers and caught the attention of the Onyekwelu Ogonna Foundation, a non-governmental organization. Miss Akah Ogonna, the foundation's founder, adopted Precious and pledged to sponsor her education till graduation, committing to a 20,000 naira support.
In her gratitude, Precious thanked the foundation and online supporters for their assistance. The scholarship will cover all university expenses, allowing Precious to pursue her dream of studying Marketing.
