Nigerian IELTS Test Takers to Receive Results in Just Two Days
Nigerian IELTS test takers can now receive their results within just two days when taking the test on a computer. This quick turnaround supports those with urgent deadlines for study, work, or migration.
Nigerians who take the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) on a computer will now benefit from an expedited results process, with scores available in just two days. This significant improvement aims to accommodate those with tight deadlines for international study, work, or migration applications, offering a quicker route to achieving their goals.
Darrin Vardon, IELTS Director of Operations for MEA, EU & CIS at IDP, emphasized that the faster turnaround reflects IELTS’ commitment to enhancing support for its test takers. “We understand that an IELTS result is crucial for individuals pursuing university placements, visas, job opportunities, or new life abroad. Our streamlined process allows us to check answers swiftly, uphold integrity, and provide accurate scores that open doors to various opportunities,” Vardon stated.
Despite the accelerated timeline, IELTS maintains its high standards of quality and accuracy. The process still involves thorough human assessment, with experienced language experts ensuring fairness and reliability.
IELTS Operations and Business Development Manager, Abiola Akinyemi, reassured test takers that the new system will not compromise the testing process's credibility. “Our highly trained experts conduct assessments in person to ensure precise and fair evaluations of English language skills. With over 12,500 endorsements from universities, governments, and employers, an IELTS result continues to set test takers apart,” Akinyemi said.
