The FCT Police Command has moved swiftly to dispel rumors of an alleged abduction plot at the University of Abuja, calling the reports misleading and without basis. The rumors, which had circulated widely online, were dismissed by the Police as baseless attempts to incite fear within the community.

In a statement, SP Josephine Adeh, the Public Relations Officer for the FCT Police, confirmed that security measures have been enhanced in and around the university.
