Nigerian Police Assures Safety at UNIABUJA Amid Rumors of Attack
The FCT Police reassures the public that security has been fortified at the University of Abuja despite unfounded rumors of a planned abduction.

The FCT Police Command has moved swiftly to dispel rumors of an alleged abduction plot at the University of Abuja, calling the reports misleading and without basis. The rumors, which had circulated widely online, were dismissed by the Police as baseless attempts to incite fear within the community.
In a statement, SP Josephine Adeh, the Public Relations Officer for the FCT Police, confirmed that security measures have been enhanced in and around the university.
The Police Command emphasized its dedication to protecting the safety of FCT residents and university students, urging the public to remain cautious and report any unusual activities via provided emergency hotlines.
