Nautical Science: 175

Nautical Science is a complex field focusing on the practical and theoretical aspects of navigation and ship operation. A cut-off mark of 175 ensures that candidates have the necessary foundational knowledge to embark on this rigorous training.

b. Marine Engineering: 175

Marine Engineering involves the study, design, development, and maintenance of the machinery used at sea. A score of 175 is required to ensure that candidates possess the analytical and technical skills required for this demanding field.

c. Electrical/Electronic Engineering: 175

This field deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism within the maritime industry. A cut-off mark of 175 signifies the candidate’s readiness to engage with the complex electrical systems onboard vessels.

d. Maritime Transport and Business Studies: 160
