Nnamdi Azikiwe University Appoints New Substantive Registrar

The Governing Council of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, has appointed Dr. Chinenye Gloria Okeke as the substantive Registrar of the institution.

The appointment was made on August 15, 2025, during the Council's 18th Emergency Meeting, chaired by the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Council, Barr. Olugbenga Kukoyi.

She holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Public Administration from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, and is a member of several professional bodies, including the Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA) and the Chartered Institute of Local Government and Public Administration of Nigeria (CILGPN).

Dr. Okeke has extensive experience in university administration, having served in various capacities, including Senior Assistant Registrar, Assistant Registrar, Administrative Officer, and Administrative Assistant. Her research interests include e-governance, service quality, and public administration.
