NOUN Set to Commission Abdallah Uba Adamu Sports Complex

The Abdallah Uba Adamu Sports Complex of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) is scheduled for commissioning on October 23, 2024. The event will be presided over by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olufemi Peters, as stated in a memo dated October 18, 2024, signed by the Chairman of the NOUN Sports Committee, Prof. Nebath Tanglang.

The commissioning ceremony will take place at 3:30 PM at the Sports Complex playground. The program will include a novelty football match featuring Deputy Directors, Directors, and other staff, followed by a match between the NOUN Football Team and the EFCC Football Team. The event will conclude with the cutting of the tape for the commissioning of volleyball, basketball, and tennis courts.

Participants are encouraged to bring their playing kits, and male participants should contact Dr. Bala Waziri, Head of the Department of Human Kinetics and Health Education, while female participants should reach out to Dr. Oluwasogo Ogunleye for further details.
