NSUK and IHVN-IRCE Form Strategic Alliance for Groundbreaking Health Research

Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) has forged a powerful alliance with the International Center of Excellence (IRCE-IHVN) to champion transformative health research and propel national development.

 

The partnership was formalized during a meeting between NSUK's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, and Prof. Alash’le Abimiku, Executive Director of IRCE-IHVN, on March 7, 2025.

The collaboration aims to foster joint research initiatives, capacity building, and internship opportunities, with a focus on genomics and public health implementation science. Prof. Abimiku emphasized the importance of versatile bioinformatics tools in driving innovation across various sectors, including education, health, and finance.

To strengthen the partnership, the NSUK-IRCE-IHVN working committee will be expanded to include key stakeholders, such as the Directors of Research & Development, the Director of IRCE Stakeholders, and representatives from the Global Health and Infectious Diseases Control Institute (GHIDI).

 

This strategic alliance represents a shared commitment to advancing digital literacy, groundbreaking research, and technological innovation for national development.
