NSUK Partners with International Islamic University Malaysia to Champion Islamic Finance Scholarship

Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) to foster academic collaboration and advance Islamic Finance scholarship.

The MoU signing ceremony took place at Langkawi Island, Malaysia, during the 2nd International Conference on Islamic Financial Literacy (October 2-3, 2024).

NSUK Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, led the delegation, accompanied by:

- Professor Abdullahi Adamu Sulaiman, Director, Academic Planning

- Associate Professor Muhammad Alhasan Yunus, Department of Islamic and Development Studies

- Professor Rashidah Funke Olarinwaju

- Associate Professor Yusuf Alhaji Usman

This partnership aims to:

- Enhance research and educational offerings in Islamic Finance

- Produce skilled professionals for Nigeria's Islamic Finance sector

- Contribute to Nigeria's economic development

The collaboration is expected to yield significant academic and professional outcomes, benefiting both Nigeria and Malaysia.
