NYSC Camp Hosts Peaceful YAN Katsina State Elective Congress, Amb. Abu Bature Dandume Elected as State Ambassador

The NYSC Camp Permanent Orientation in Katsina State served as the venue for the Elective Congress of the 4th Republic, Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN), Katsina State Chapter, held on Monday, August 26, 2024. The event saw the peaceful election of various principal officers, senators, and the State Ambassador, with Ambassador Abu Bature Dandume emerging as the newly elected State Ambassador to represent Katsina State.

The congress was marked by its orderly conduct, with all results being accepted by the agents of the contestants. Certificates of return were issued to the winners, solidifying their positions. The successful election highlighted the cooperation and support from the State's Electoral Committee, led by Comrade Mikailu Yusuf Dauda, as well as the involvement of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, observers, delegates, media, and security personnel.
