A member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Busayo, has found herself into a leadership role she initially resisted. During a routine Community Development Service (CDS) group meeting, Busayo was unexpectedly elected as the new Lecture Coordinator, despite having declined a previous position due to a lack of desire for added responsibility.

Miss Busayo expressed his bewilderment at the turn of events, admitting she was speechless and confused when his fellow corps members nominated and elected him. "I didn't expect this at all," she confessed, "I was happy just participating without any leadership roles."

However, her peers saw potential in him that she had not recognized himself. Despite her initial reluctance, Busayo decided to embrace the challenge. Her first major task as Lecture Coordinator was to deliver a lecture on drugs and drug abuse to her CDS group. Describing the experience as daunting yet fulfilling, she noted her passion for teaching and guiding others.

"From shock to acceptance, my journey as lecture coordinator has been eye-opening," Busayo remarked. She has since dedicated herself to enhancing the educational programs within the CDS group, aiming to foster a more informed and engaged community among her fellow corps members.
