Bauchi Governor Assures Safety of Corps Members
The Governor also reiterated the commitment of his administration to the security of the Corps members' lives and property. He pledged to commence the renovation of the NYSC camp, addressing the requests made by the State Coordinator.
Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir, has assured the 1,691 Corps members undertaking their one-year national service in the state that their safety is a top priority. During the closing ceremony of the 2023 Batch C, Stream 1 orientation exercise, Governor Bala Mohammed emphasized the importance of the various skill acquisition programs, aiming to transform the Corps members into job creators.
Represented by his Deputy, Rt Hon. Auwal Mohammed Jatau, the Governor encouraged the Corps members to carry these skills to their places of primary assignment, fostering self-employment and job creation. He highlighted available credit facilities and funding options for comprehensive business proposals.
