In anticipation of the NYSC Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) opening ceremony for the 2024 Batch B Stream II orientation course, a sensitization rally was held at the Eziama Obaire Camp in Imo State. The rally, led by the Assistant Director of SAED, Mrs. Ruth Jacob, along with Trainers and Corps Members, toured the camp environs to raise awareness about the various skill sets offered through the SAED programme and the importance of embracing skill acquisition.
During the rally, Corps Members were also introduced to the KUDIMATA Zoom meeting on Basic Financial Literacy, which provided valuable insights into managing finances and achieving financial independence. The interactive session was well-received by the participants, highlighting the practical benefits of the SAED programme.
Upon their return, the rally team was warmly welcomed by the State Coordinator, Mrs. Rachel Idaewor. In her address, Mrs. Idaewor encouraged the Corps Members to take full advantage of the opportunities presented by the SAED programme. She emphasized the importance of acquiring one or more skills to become financially independent and empowered for life after their service year.
The rally set a positive tone for the SAED opening ceremony, with Corps Members eager to explore the diverse skill sets available and commit to their personal and professional development.
