In a move to further solidify its academic foundations, the management of Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, paid a courtesy visit to its mentor university, Bayero University Kano (BUK), on March 20, 2025.

 

During the visit, Prof. Garba acknowledged BUK's pivotal role as a guiding institution for KHAIRUN, expressing deep gratitude for the university's unwavering support since its establishment. He reaffirmed KHAIRUN's commitment to maintaining strong ties with BUK, seeking expertise in academic matters, and soliciting further guidance for sustained progress.

In response, BUK's Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sagir Adamu Abbas, warmly welcomed KHAIRUN's delegation, describing the university's journey as highly successful. Prof. Abbas also commended Prof. Garba, recognizing him as one of BUK's distinguished academics with exceptional leadership qualities.
