NYSC Talent Hunt: Platoon 5 Emerges Champion

The 2024 Batch B Stream II Talent Hunt at the Osun State NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Ede concluded with a thrilling finale on Sunday, as Platoon 5 clinched the top prize in a night filled with outstanding performances and intense competition. Sponsored by Minimie Nigeria, the event showcased the diverse talents of Corps members from various platoons, who captivated the audience with their creativity and skills.

The evening began with an electrifying DJ performance, setting an energetic tone for the night. Comedians from Platoons 3 and 6 brought laughter to the crowd, while artistic talents from Platoons 10, 9, 4, and 3 were met with enthusiastic applause. Among the standout performers were Zusbaby from Platoon 2 and BadmanDoski, who captivated the audience with their artistic displays.

In addition to the performances, Mr. Chibike Njoku, Head of Events and Promotion for Minimie, introduced the company’s products and recognized MC_waka from Platoon 7 for their exceptional social media engagement by presenting them with a carton of Minimie Indomie.

The highlight of the night was the fiercely contested dance competition, where representatives from each platoon vied for the top spot. Platoon 5 emerged victorious, taking home a 32-inch LG plasma TV as the grand prize. Platoon 6 followed closely, securing second place with a double-sitter gas cooker, while Platoon 8 came in third, winning an electric standing fan.

The event came to a close with a final DJ mix, leaving the Corps members and attendees in high spirits as they celebrated the talent and camaraderie on display throughout the evening.
