In a remarkable display of talent and determination, athletes from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) have continued their winning streak at the ongoing 11th Fédération of African University Sports (FASU) Games, hosted at the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

The OAU contingent has notably excelled, with LASU (Lagos State University) also showcasing impressive performances. Among the standout athletes, Ogungbe Peter Oluwadamilare, a KHR student from the Faculty of Education, clinched his second Gold medal in the Opens Judo Games by defeating his opponent from LASU.

Additionally, Akhabue Priscilla Hallelujah, a student of Mass Communication from the Faculty of Social Sciences, added to the medal tally with her second Gold medal at the FASU Games. With these outstanding performances, OAU has secured a total of four Gold medals thus far, solidifying its reputation as a powerhouse in university sports.
