Programme Duration and Requirements

• Postgraduate Diploma: Full-time – 2 Semesters
• Master's Degree: Coursework and Long Essay – 3 Semesters; Coursework and Research Thesis – 4 Semesters
• Ph.D.: Full-time – Minimum 6 Semesters; Part-time – Minimum 8 Semesters (subject to approval)

Application Requirements

• Postgraduate Diploma: Minimum of Third Class degree from OAU or Second Class (Lower Division) from any approved university.
• Master's Degree: Minimum of Second Class (Lower Division) Honours Degree.
• Ph.D.: Master’s degree with a research thesis and a weighted coursework average of not less than 60% (B).

1. Visit OAU Admission Website.
2. Create an online account.
3. Fill out the application form accurately.
4. Pay the application processing fee via Remita.
5. Submit supporting documents to the Postgraduate College and the chosen department.

Additional Information

• Application fees: N15,000 (standard), N20,000 (professional programmes), N30,000 (PGD and Masters in Subsea Engineering).
• Deadline for submission: August 14, 2024.
• Original transcripts must be received before the admission exercise begins.
