OAUSTECH Achieves Full NUC Accreditation for 14 Programmes
Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) in Okitipupa, Ondo State, has attained full accreditation from the National Universities Commission (NUC) for all 14 academic programmes presented during the accreditation exercise in late 2023.

Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), located in Okitipupa, Ondo State, has achieved full accreditation for 14 of its academic programmes from the National Universities Commission (NUC). This accreditation, confirmed in a letter dated June 6 and signed by Engr Abraham Chundusu acting on behalf of the NUC Executive Secretary, follows the accreditation exercise conducted between October and November 2023.

Prof. Temi Ologunorisa, the Vice-Chancellor of OAUSTECH, announced this milestone during a press briefing on June 12, 2024. He highlighted that these programmes, which include Agriculture, Fisheries, Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, and others such as Food Science Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Botany, Geophysics, Industrial Chemistry, Mathematics, Microbiology, Statistics, and Zoology, had previously received interim accreditation.
Underlining the significance of achieving full accreditation, Prof. Akinbo Adesomoju, Chairman of the OAUSTECH Governing Council, commended the university's management for their dedication and efforts. He emphasized that this accomplishment would enhance the quality of education and academic standards at OAUSTECH.
