OFFAPOLY Water factory ready for operation as management inspects site to test run machines, Inspection Team witnesses first production of sachet water.

The ongoing Water Factory project under the leadership of Engr. Dr. Kadiri Kamoru Oluwatoyin FNSE is fully ready for operation.

This was confirmed after the management team led by the Deputy Rector Academics, Dr. Mrs. Mulikat Bolajoko Aliyu carried out a two-day inspection tour of the factory to monitor the level of progress of the project and witnessed the first production of sachet water. 

The extensive tour included the inspection of different production areas, such as the purification unit, micro-filtration unit, and packaging unit, where the team observed the meticulous steps taken to ensure quality and seamless operation. The management team was equally exposed to the chemical tank, treatment plant machine, reverse osmosis machine, and automatic packing machine among other state-of-the-art facilities in the factory.

During the tour, the team engaged in informative conversations with experts at the factory who provided valuable information about the water treatment process, quality control methods, and safety measures to be deployed within the factory. 

Overwhelmed with Dr. Kadiri's achievements, Dr. Mrs. Aliyu expressed her deep gratitude to God Almighty for making the project a reality. She commended the key players who contributed to the success of the project and prayed for the resounding success of the factory in all ramifications.

The water factory among other IGR projects currently going on in the Polytechnic has revealed Engr. Dr. Kadiri's commitment to strengthening ties with local industries, exposing students to the latest technological advancements, and keeping the institution up-to-date with current practices for Internally Generated Revenue.

In the Deputy Rector's entourage were Director of Poly Consult, Dr. Ibikunle Kolawole, Director, UNESCO-UNEVOC Programme, Dr. A.S. Muhammed.
