Ojukwu University Ag. Vice Chancellor Inaugurates Faculty of Education Micro Project

On the 12th of March, 2024, the Ag. Vice Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha FNIPR, graced the Faculty of Education at the Igbariam Campus with her presence for the inauguration of a significant micro project. The event was warmly welcomed by students and staff, with Prof. Nneka Rita Nnorom, the Dean of the Faculty, leading the reception.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. Nneka Nnorom acknowledged the collaborative effort involved in completing the project initiated by her predecessor, Prof. Obikeze. She credited the successful completion to the dedication of undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as the faculty staff, whose contributions stemmed from internal revenue and stakeholder support. Prof. Nnorom expressed confidence in the leadership of Prof. Omenugha, highlighting her proven track record of enhancing the university's visibility and viability.
In her remarks, the Ag. Vice Chancellor commended the Faculty for their determination in executing the project despite challenges. She emphasized the significance of their efforts, emphasizing that what might be termed "micro" project was indeed a testament to their resilience, especially considering prevailing market conditions affecting material costs. Prof. Omenugha urged continued commitment to the university's advancement, assuring support from the institution where needed. She encouraged faculty members to leverage external networks for additional support, fostering stronger ties between the university and its stakeholders.
