In a bid to bolster security measures within the university campus and its environs, the Acting Vice Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha, fnipr, recently held a strategic meeting with the State Commander of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Comm. O.A Maku, at the NSCDC State Command headquarters in Awka.

The meeting, held under the banner of collaborative security efforts, aimed to foster a stronger partnership between COOU and the NSCDC in ensuring the safety and well-being of students, staff, and the university community at large.
