In a proactive move to enhance discipline and maintain order on campus, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) has announced the implementation of the Students Police Policy (SPP). This initiative aims to address the issue of students creating unauthorized pathways across quadrangles and fields, disrupting the established flow of movement within the university premises.
The decision comes after growing concerns among faculty and management regarding the disregard for designated pathways by students, which has led to unnecessary congestion and potential safety hazards. With the introduction of the Students Police Policy, COOU seeks to instill a culture of adherence to established rules and regulations governing campus life.
