In a spectacle filled with celebration and anticipation, the University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (UAES) proudly matriculated 471 freshmen during its annual ceremony last Saturday. The event, which marked the 3rd Matriculation Ceremony of the esteemed institution, drew an impressive gathering of proud parents, guardians, and well-wishers, all eager to commemorate the admission of their wards into the university's prestigious programs.

Addressing the gathering, the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Christopher Chiedozie Eze, warmly welcomed the newcomers into what he described as a "student-centered, robust boot camp for nurturing the next generation of informed leaders." He expressed gratitude to the Governor and Visitor to the University, His Excellency, Dist. Senator Hope Uzodimma, for his unwavering support in nurturing the institution since its inception.

He emphasized that the university would not hesitate to take disciplinary action, including suspension or rustication, against any student found engaging in such behaviors.
