The Oyo State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has officially opened its recruitment portal for the 2024 academic year. The recruitment aims to fill 7,500 teaching positions and 3,000 non-teaching positions in secondary schools across the state.

Teaching Staff Positions: Candidates interested in teaching roles must meet the following requirements:
- WASSCE/NECO - SSCE with five (5) O’ Level credits in relevant subjects (not more than two sittings).
- Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) from recognized institutions.
- Degree in Education or Basic Degree with HND.
- Any other relevant qualifications.

Non-Teaching Staff Positions: OND holders in various fields are eligible to apply for non-teaching roles. The recruitment requirements include:
- OND Holders in Humanities/Administration/Public Administration.
- OND Holders in Accounting.
- OND Holders in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- OND Holders in Laboratory Technology.
- OND Holders in Library Science and Information Technology.
- OND Holders in Data Processing/Computer Science.
- Holders of WASSCE/NECO O’ Level in five subjects, including a credit pass in English and Mathematics (valid driver’s license required for motor drivers/driver mechanics).
- Holders of WASSCE/NECO O‘ Level in four subjects with a credit pass in either English or Mathematics.
- Primary School Leaving Certificate.
