The Plateau State House of Assembly has expressed its strong commitment to partnering with the 8th Governing Council of the Federal College of Education, Pankshin, in a bid to advance the institution's developmental goals. This pledge was made by the Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon. Gabriel Dewan, during a courtesy visit from the Governing Council at the Assembly complex.

In his welcome address, Hon. Dewan conveyed confidence in the new Board, highlighting its wealth of knowledge and practical experience as key assets for the growth and development of the college. He emphasized the importance of aligning the institution’s operations with its mission and vision, which aims to produce high-quality NCE graduate teachers of international standards, establish a center of excellence in educational research, and contribute positively to the education sector.

Chairman of the 8th Governing Council, Hon. Funsho Olumoko, echoed the call for collaboration among stakeholders to fulfill the institution's mandate. Olumoko, a seasoned administrator with extensive experience in finance, administration, insurance, and ICT, expressed gratitude for the ongoing support and commitment extended to the Federal College of Education, Pankshin.
