Prof. Gwarzo appoints Pro Chancellor for Franco-British International University, Kaduna

The Board of Trustees of Franco-British International University, Kaduna, has approved the appointment of a renowned Management Professional and Philanthropist, Prof. Bikash Sharma as Pro Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council of the new University.

The notification of appointment was contained in a statement personally signed by the Founder of the University, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo and issued to newsmen in Kano on Monday.

According to the statement, the appointment of Prof. Sharma is part of efforts to strengthen the new University for effective service delivery for national development and global competitiveness.

Prof. Sharma is a management professional and philanthropist with over two and half decades of experience across various domains including education, management, human resource and IT enabled services.

He is also the President and the Founder Trustee of International Academic and Management Association (IAMA), an education focused organization working towards ensuring qualitative, affordable, dynamic, borderless and industry centric education for all without any discrimination.

“As of today, under the stewardship of Prof. Sharma, IAMA operates in over 44 countries, offering its services to 200 plus institutions, benefitting thousands of students across the globe,” the statement said.

According to the statement, the new appointee is also the Founding President of IAMA International Open University of Florida (USA) and IAMA School of Vocational and Technical Education (iSVTE) which was instituted in the year 2022 on lines of the IAMA’s Educational Philosophy and Objectives.

In addition, Prof. Sharma is also the Managing Director of IAMA International Tradelinks Private Limited (IITPL), set-up in 2022 with the objective of offering affordable and quality Health Services and Products, Renewable Energy and Waste Management Solutions to the developing and under-developed nations.

Prof. Sharma is also the President of the World Academic Education Industry (WAEI) and organization established with the purpose of highlighting the hard work and efforts carried out by every individual who is a part of this noble profession of education.

Additionally, the new Pro Chancellor is also the Chief Executive Officer of iDeliver Services, an IT and IT Enabled Services and HR Solutions firm located in India.

He has also been bestowed with multiple Honorary Academic Titles including Doctorates, Fellowships and Professorship from institutions across the USA, Brazil and the African continent for his contribution in the field of Higher Education and Internationalization of Education in addition to being on the Board of several educational institutions and organizations globally.

While congratulating the new appointee, Prof. Gwarzo prayed to almighty Allah to give Prof. Sharma strength to discharge his new assignment effectively.
