Prof. Gwarzo Donates 60-Seater Bus to Federal Polytechnic Kabo

President of the MAAUN Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, has donated a 60-seater luxury bus to Federal Polytechnic Kabo, Kano State. The announcement came during a solidarity visit to the institution’s Rector, Prof. Magaji Sanusi, who was previously the acting President of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN), Kano.

This donation marks Prof. Gwarzo's third contribution of a luxury bus to Nigerian institutions, following similar donations to Federal University Dutsin-Ma in Katsina State and Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila. He expressed hope that the bus would support the movement of staff and students, facilitating operations at the newly established polytechnic.

Congratulating Prof. Magaji on his appointment as the institution’s pioneer Rector, Prof. Gwarzo described him as a hardworking and incorruptible leader. He urged the institution’s management to support Prof. Magaji’s efforts to develop the polytechnic into a competitive institution.

In response, Prof. Magaji expressed gratitude for the visit and bus donation, emphasizing that it would enhance the quality of education at the polytechnic. 

The MAAUN delegation accompanying Prof. Gwarzo included prominent figures such as MAAUN President Prof. Mohammad Israr, FBIU Vice Chancellor Prof. Muhammad Abdullahi Sabo, and Northwest University Vice Chancellor Prof. Ahmad Ibrahim Maigari.
