The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics) of Lagos State University, Professor Oseni Taiwo Afisi, has been awarded the Fellowship of the Society for Peace Studies and Practice (FSPSP) in recognition of his outstanding contributions to peace studies and conflict resolution over the past decade.

The FSPSP Fellowship is one of the Society’s highest honours, reserved for scholars and practitioners who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, research, and professional engagement in advancing peace practice. Recipients must have a track record of at least ten years of impactful work in the field, endorsed by the Society’s Executive Council.
