Requirements for Benue State University 2024/2025 Pre-Admission Screening
BSU announces screening requirements for candidates seeking admission for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Benue State University, (BSU) Makurdi, has released the eligibility requirements for candidates applying for the 2024/2025 academic session's Pre-Admission Screening. The screening is open to candidates who scored at least 150 in the 2024 UTME and made BSU their first choice. Candidates must also have a minimum of five relevant O’ level credits, including Mathematics and English, obtained in no more than two sittings.
Candidates applying for specific programmes must meet the following score thresholds:
- 150 and above: Arts, Education, Environmental Sciences, Management Sciences, and Social Sciences
- 180 and above: Communication and Media Studies, Human Anatomy, Human Physiology
- 200 and above: Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Radiography
- 220 and above: Medicine (MBBS), Pharmacy, Law, and Architecture
Additionally, both UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates must upload their O’ level results to the JAMB CAPS before registration. All applicants must comply with these guidelines to be considered for admission.
