Sa'adu Zungur University VC Seeks Perimeter Fencing to Enhance Campus Security

Professor Fatimah Tahir, Vice Chancellor of Sa'adu Zungur University (SAZU), has appealed to the state government to complete the perimeter fencing of the university's campuses to ensure the safety of students and protect infrastructure.

Speaking at the 2024 tree planting campaign flag-off at the Yuli Campus, Professor Tahir highlighted the risks posed by incomplete fencing, including animal encroachment and destruction of plants. She also emphasized the need for additional hostel blocks to address security challenges faced by students living off-campus.

The VC expressed gratitude to the Governor for attending the ceremony and presented him with an award of excellence for his developmental strides in the state and university.
