Sokoto State Government Addresses Tuition Payment Issues for Usmanu Danfodiyo University Students

The Special Adviser to the Sokoto State Governor on Students Matters has issued an important notice to Sokoto State students studying at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS). The notice follows the approval by Governor Dr. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto for the payment of tuition fees, allowing verified students to access the university portal for course registration.

Students who faced issues during the data compilation, whether due to logical or human errors, are encouraged to submit their complaints through their Student Union and Local Government Students Coordinators. Complaints that meet the verification requirements will be addressed. The committee is working to ensure the second batch of payments for affected students is processed by Monday, July 23, 2024.

Additionally, the Office of the Special Adviser has contacted the Management Information Services (MIS) at UDUS to resolve issues where some students were denied access to the university portal despite having their registration fees paid. The MIS is working to address this issue promptly.
