Student of FUT Minna Dies After Falling into Fishpond During Hike

In a tragic incident, Oluwaseyi Adebayo, a 400-level student of the Department of Animal Production at the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State, has died after falling into a fishpond while hiking with colleagues.
The incident occurred on August 10, 2024, when Adebayo and some of his fellow students went bike hiking. According to reports, Adebayo slipped from a hilltop and landed in the fishpond, where he lost his life.

However, the situation was later resolved when concerned individuals stepped in, paying the required amount and providing a white ram for the ritual.
