Surveyor Abiodun Jacob Aluko Rebrands UNILORIN Vision with New Strategic Goals

The newly appointed Chairman of the University of Ilorin Governing Council, Surveyor Abiodun Jacob Aluko, has rebranded the institution’s strategic vision in his inaugural address on August 26, 2024. Surv. Aluko unveiled a revamped Vision 1:10:100, replacing the previous Vision 1:10:500, with the aim of positioning UNILORIN among the top 100 global universities.

Surv. Aluko commended the previous vision set by Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, and expressed his confidence in achieving the revised goals. He emphasized the importance of leveraging the University’s intellectual resources and aligning with international standards to reach these ambitious targets.

The new Council, officially inaugurated on July 1, 2024, includes key figures such as Elder Ayobami Oladele Afolabi, Alhaja Abosede Juwon Olayiwola, and Pharm. Racheal Tinuke Alabi. Surv. Aluko’s extensive experience on various university councils will play a crucial role in driving the University towards its new vision.
