SWAN Pays Courtesy Visit to MAAUN to Explore Partnership Opportunities

The Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria (SWAN), the women-focused arm of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), paid a courtesy visit to Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN) to explore opportunities for partnership and collaboration.

The visiting delegation was received by the President of MAAUN, Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Israr, alongside the Dean of the School of Economics and Management Sciences, Prof. Mahmoud Muktar Saidu.

Discussions focused on areas of mutual interest, particularly academic collaboration, professional development, capacity building, and initiatives that support the advancement of women in the accounting and business professions.

The visit further demonstrated MAAUN’s commitment to building strong partnerships with professional bodies and organisations to promote academic excellence, innovation, and meaningful societal impact.
