Prof. Yusuf Saidu, the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Research, Innovation, and Development at Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto, has tragically passed away. He was attacked and killed by bandits while traveling from Sokoto to Kaduna.
Prof. Saidu was widely recognized for his integrity, religious devotion, dedication, and courage. His untimely death is a profound loss to the university community and the academic world at large.
