UI, UNN, UNILAG Emerge Top Three Nigerian universities

The University of Ibadan (UI), University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) and the University of Lagos (UNILAG) have emerged as the top three universities in Nigeria according to the center for world university rankings.

Myschoolnews reports this was revealed in a global list of universities containing 2,000 universities published on the organisation's website .

According to the organisation, the rankings were based on research, employability, faculty and education rank.

According to the list sighted by Myschoolnews, The university of Ibadan(UI) was ranked first in Nigeria and 1,163th in the world; The university of Nigeria, Nsukka was second in the Nigeria and 1,784th in the world while the university of Lagos (UNILAG) was third in Nigeria and 1875th in the world.

The organisation however pointed out thet more needs to be done in the educational sector to improve the fortunes of the sector in the country despite the recent strides made by the country in the educational sector.
