The University of Ibadan has welcomed students back and announced guidelines for the 2023/2024 academic session. Returning students can start paying fees and registering for courses from today, Monday, June 10, 2024, while fresh students will commence registration on a date to be announced later.

The University administration, under the auspices of the Vice-Chancellor, extends a warm welcome to all staff and students as the new academic session commences. With the resumption scheduled for Monday, June 10, 2024, students are urged to take note of crucial information regarding fee payment and course registration outlined below.

For Returning Students:

  • Fee payment and course registration for returning students will commence on Monday, June 10, 2024.

For All Students (Fresh and Returning):

  • The deadline for fee payment and course registration for both fresh and returning students is set for Sunday, August 4, 2024.
  • Following the deadline, a two-week window for late registration will be available from Monday, August 5, 2024, to Sunday, August 18, 2024. Late registrants will incur a penalty fee of N20,000.00.
  • It's crucial to note that there will be no reopening of the portal for fee payment or course registration after the stipulated closure, as directed by the Senate.
  • Failure to complete registration appropriately will result in students being barred from writing examinations.
